Artist's Comments

Taken the same night as the Eiffel Tower, but not on a long exposure. This was the first time I have ever just stood and watched this perfect, shining circle simply drop through the sky without clouds (once it got out from under them). It was beautiful, and different.

Full view is best, or the sun looks a bit weird...

gorgeous colours. wouldnt have recognised it as paris, but is a lovely archetypal city scape.

i like that there's a little ambiguity, if it wasn't down as a sunset i'd be hard pushed to say if that was the sun or the moon up there, and the tiny strip of purple cloud across the bottom makes it look... just edible.

i really like the simple frame too.

very sexy :)
